In addition, the Ranger 2301GE-LAN will be able to extend over a point to point connection up to 100m/330ft.
The Ranger 2301GE-LAN USB extender features ExtremeUSB® technology, allowing it to have true plug-and-play functionality and compatibility with all leading operating systems (Mac OSX, Windows, Linux). While only having one USB port, the Ranger 2301GE-LAN’s Local Area Network functionality means it can support over 10 USB devices or hubs over LAN.
Icron has updated the firmware and hardware for the Ranger 2301GE-LAN. It has a new ASIC based design and internal USB hub changes from Microchip to Cypress. In addition, the Rangers advanced design allows it to be mounted securely at both the local and remote extenders.
